We're back and better than ever! The 2009 Energizing Summit is back with hot new techniques, killer hands-on workshops and absolutely the best instructors — all ready to bring you new and exciting ways to improve your haircoloring skills.

Summit Fees

The admission for the two-day Summit is $275 for American Board Certified Haircolorists (ABCH Members) and $375 for non-Board Certified Haircolorists. No refunds will be given unless cancelled at least three weeks in advance (A $50 administration fee will be deducted). Be sure to check the ABCH Member option when you register to take advantage of your "ABCH" membership discount!

A Great Flexible List of Classes!

We do everything we can to help you get the most out of the Energizing Summit, that's why we offer an extremely flexible course schedule... classes are repeated at least once and, in some cases, two or three times. This gives you flexibility to attend desired classes and workshops. As the conference date grows nearer, some classes will definitely fill up.

Hands-On Workshops

Some hands-on classes will occupy two breakout sessions. Some are creative in nature. some are technical. Read the class descriptions and outlines to get an indication of the type of class offered. Classes will allow you to work at your own speed; don't dispair if you fall behind.

Some of the classes utilize live bleach and/or color; these require a $40 charge for the specialized mannequin and you can take the mannequin at the conclusion of the class. Plastic bags will be furnished. These classes are important if you want to observe the results of your work. There are also classes that utilize simulated bleach and/or color; the charge for these classes are $15. At the conclusion of the class you leave the mannequin behind. The Balayage and "Make Your Haircolors Pop" classes are 1 1/2 hours and require no extra charge.

To improve the quality of the hands-on workshops, the American Board of Certified Haircolorists is providing special mannequins designed for the Energizing Summit. Each mannequin is designed with the workshop's focus in mind — allowing students to deal with and treat "real-world" problems!

A limited number of rooms have been set aside for this function. To take advantage of the special price of $119 per night (single or double), you must make your reservations before May 19, 2009.

Notice to All American Board Certified Haircolorists

New technology and techniques require we continue to upgrade our skills. We, as Board Certified Haircolorists, are recognized as being among the most knowledgeable haircolorists in America. It is highly recommended by your Board of Directors that you attend at least one Energizing Summit every three years. This year we lowered the price of the Summit to $275, to encourage more of you to attend. We look forward to seeing you this year!
