Keynote Speaker Keya Neal: YOUR STORY REWRITTEN

So much has changed in the beauty industry and this can be frightening to some and invigorating to others. One of the biggest “changes” in our industry is the paradigm shift around the curly hair community. The Texture vs Race movement is calling for a change in narrative as we explore ways to embody a unified culture. The first step to embracing growth personally and professionally is to take inventory of the things that seem to paralyze us. I want to invite you to rewrite your story, recreate your mission, and remember why you started. Change gives the opportunity for our industry to grow, growth is the measure of all involved. Change is inevitable; Growth is optional. (John Maxwell)
